BALTIMORE – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) released the first weekly Division III Coaches Poll on Monday and the Salisbury University men's lacrosse team remained the No. 1 team in the nation.
The Sea Gulls (1-0) received 297 total points and 14 out of the 15
possible first-place votes. Roanoke College, which Salisbury is
scheduled to play on Feb. 25
at Sea Gull Stadium, sits in second with 251 points, while Tufts
University and Dickinson College are tied for third with 248 points.
Tufts received the final first-place vote.
Salisbury started off its season with a 19-6 win over the weekend at
Greensboro College. The Sea Gulls will have their home opener against
No. 11 Lynchburg College this Saturday, Feb. 18, at 1 p.m.
