CRISFIELD, Md.- Crisfield police have announced the arrest of the third and final suspect accused of crashing a birthday party and robbing those in attendance.

On Friday morning, members of the Maryland State Police Task Force located 28-year-old Charles Andrew Colbourne Jr. on Pemberton Road in Salisbury.

Colbourne, who is from Salisbury, was taken into custody and turned over to the Crisfield Police Department where he was charged with four counts of armed robbery, four counts each of first- and second-degree assault, four counts of reckless endangerment, first-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, handgun on a person, handgun use in the commission of a felony, deadly weapon with the intent to injure and theft. Bond information was not immediately available.

Colbourne's arrest stemmed from an incident alleged to have occurred shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11. According to police, an uninvited guest crashed a birthday party at 136 Somers Cove Apartments and was asked to leave. Investigators said that about an hour later, three people infiltrated the party and forced the attendees to empty their pockets. The suspects were armed and fired a round and pistol-whipped one of the guests, police said.

Officers said the suspects fled the scene in a silver Nissan Altima that had been parked at 274 Somers Cove Apartments. The car was a rental vehicle and has since been taken to a facility to be processed as evidence.

The Crisfield Police Department issued an "All Points lookout" to Maryland State Police, the Somerset County Sheriff's Office and the Princess Anne Police Department. Approximately 90 minutes after the alleged incident, Princess Anne police spotted the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Dryden Road.

According to police, the three suspects jumped out of the vehicle, which led to a foot chase around Branningham Road.

Authorities said one of the suspects, 20-year-old Meko Gianni Palmiro of Salisbury, was taken into custody by Princess Anne police. He was returned to Crisfield where he was charged with armed robbery, handgun possession, handgun on person, reckless endangerment, first- and second-degree assault, first-, third, and fourth-degree burglary and theft.

On Tuesday night, police arrested a second suspect in the robbery, identified as 21-year-old Joseph Terry Wilson, also of Salisbury. He was booked on similar charges as the aforementioned suspects.
