MILFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police are looking for three people involved in a late Sunday night home invasion in Milford.
Police said that at around 11:12 p.m., three suspects broke into a home on the unit block of Concord Drive, at Shawnee Acres in Milford. Once inside, the suspects confronted the 63-year-old male resident and demanded money.
Detectives said the man resisted the suspects and a fight ensued, leading to the man being hit in the chest with a metal pole. The suspects then fled the home empty-handed.
The victim was treated at Milford Memorial Hospital for minor injuries sustained in the beating.
