Va. Beach Sailor Dies in Horn of Africa

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) - A sailor from Virginia Beach has died during a deployment to the Horn of Africa.

The Department of Defense says in a news release that 22-year-old constructionman Trevor J. Stanley died Saturday. The department didn't provide details.

Stanley had been deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti.

He was a Seabee assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 based in Port Hueneme, Calif.
