








NEW CASTLE, Del. (WBOC/AP) - Delaware State Police say a 91-year-old man was killed when the pickup truck he was driving collided with another in New Castle.
It happened about 2 p.m. Friday on Airport Road at Allegretto Road. Troopers said Harry Marsh of New Castle was trying to make a left turn from Airport Road onto Allegretto Road when he drove into the path of a pickup truck driven by 40-year-old David Wickersham of Newark.
Marsh's truck spun around and came to rest on its side in the driveway of a home. Troopers said Marsh, who was not properly restrained, was ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wickersham's truck came to rest on the front lawn of a home. He was taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
One northbound lane and both southbound lanes of Airport Road were closed for approximately 2 hours as the crash was investigated and cleared.
The accident remains investigation.
