GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Salisbury University women's lacrosse team for the second week in a row reigns unanimously atop Tuesday's IWLCA top 20 coaches poll.
This week marks the fourth straight week the Sea Gulls have been ranked No.1. Rounding out the top five is No.2 State University of New York at Cortland with a record of 13-1 and totaling 375 points. At No.3 is the other remaining unbeaten team in the top 20, Trinity (Conn.) College with a 13-0 record good enough for 363 points. Gettysburg College stayed at No. 4 with 335 points and The College of New Jersey remained at No. 5 with 303 points.
The Capital Athletic Conference once again has four teams in the top 20 poll. In addition to SU, York (Pa.) College stays at No.11, while the University of Mary Washington jumped to No.12. Stevenson University moved up two spots to No. 17 in the nation.
The 16-0 Sea Gulls face the Stevenson Mustangs at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Sea Gull Stadium in the CAC semifinals.
