Bethany Beach Increasing Wi-Fi Access This Summer

Posted:

BETHANY BEACH, Del. (AP) - Visitors to Bethany Beach this summer will be able to enjoy free Wi-Fi access in the boardwalk area and on the beach.

Town Manager Cliff Graviet said that Bethany Beach hopes to offer free Wi-Fi on the beach, boardwalk and bandstand by Memorial Day.

Residents have had free access at the wireless park next to Town Hall for several years. Many businesses and hotels also offer Wi-Fi.

The town also plans to attract visitors this summer by showing films on the beach once a week. The films will be shown after 8:30 p.m. on days that do not interfere with bandstand performances.
