








NORFOLK, Va. - UMES looks to reclaim second place in the MEAC Northern Division as it returns to Norfolk to take on the Spartans for the third time in a series. A doubleheader is set to start at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Marty L. Miller Field, with the series finishing up on Sunday with a noon matinee.
This will be UMES's second time playing at Miller Field this season, with the Hawks set to return for the MEAC Tournament in two weeks.
UMES is currently in third place in the MEAC North with an 8-10 conference record, standing 9-33 overall. Norfolk State is in second place at 10-8 in the division, going 16-24 at this point. NSU owns the tiebreaker in the MEAC North having won five of six against UMES this year.
