Funeral Services Monday for Slain Greenwood Couple

HARRINGTON, Del. (AP)- Funeral services are scheduled for a Greenwood couple who authorities say was killed by a former tenant.

Melvin Funeral Home in Harrington, Del., says services will be held on Monday for 76-year-old Harvey Cashwell and 66-year-old Carolyn Cashwell, who were found dead in April 26 inside their home.

Authorities recently arrested 32-year-old Michael P. Emory and charged him with two counts of first-degree murder.

Police were called to the Cashwells' home by neighbors who said they were concerned because they had not seen the couple or observed any activity at the home for days.

According to court records, Emory was evicted from a residence he rented from the Cashwells in July. Emory was arrested last month after allegedly pawning a ring belonging to Carolyn Cashwell.
