POCOMOKE CITY, Md.– The Worcester County Sheriff's Office arrested a 25-year-old man on drug and related charges following a raid on his home in Pocomoke City.

Authorities said that on May 30, members of the Worcester County Criminal Enforcement Team executed a search-and-seizure warrant at a Pocomoke City home as part of a marijuana distribution investigation. Officials said the owner of the home, 25-year-old Toan Chi Huynh, was inside the dwelling when police arrived and was taken into custody.

The Sheriff's Office reports that officers searched the house and seized 1,207 grams of marijuana, 61 grams of powder MDMA, 16 tablets of Ecstasy and over $1,000 in cash. They also found various items of drug paraphernalia, according to investigators.

Huynh was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, powder MDMA, and ecstasy. He was also charged with possession with the intent to distribute for all three substances, as well as possession with the intent to distribute in a school zone. In addition, Huynh was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Huynh is being held in the Worcester County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
