Police Arrest Man in Salisbury Stabbing

SALISBURY, Md.- A fight left a man stabbed in Wicomico County shortly after 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Officers with the Salisbury Police Department said the incident happened on Smith Street.

Police arrested 27-year-old, Darnell Dwight Wright of Salisbury after they say he and the victim got into a fight and Wright stabbed him in the back.

The victim was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Wright is charged with first and second degree assault among other charges.

He was released to the custody of central booking and held on $250,000 bond.
