Burn Ban Announced for Somerset County

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.- The Somerset County Commissioners have instituted a burn ban for the county, effective immediately.

According to Gary J. Powell of the Somerset County Department of Emergency Services, all outdoor burning is prohibited with the exception of charcoal and propane grills.

The ban will remain in effect until further notice.
