Posted: Updated:

EASTON, Md. – Police are looking for two suspects who held up the Wendy's on Ocean Gateway in Easton on Wednesday.

Easton police said that around 7 a.m. the restaurant manager arrived for work and when she went inside was stopped by a masked man. She said he pointed a gun at her and forced her to give him the restaurant safe's combination. The victim reported hearing two voices but only saw one other person inside the restaurant. Police said the suspects then tied the victim up and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police said just before 8 a.m., a group of Wendy's managers who were driving through Easton rode past the restaurant and noticed that the interior lights were off. One of those managers stopped and entered the restaurant, where he found the victim tied up.

The victim was not injured but was transported to Memorial Hospital at Easton for an examination.

The clerk described the first suspect as a tall white male, wearing dark clothing and a black ski mask. She did not see the second suspect.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Easton Police Department at (410) 822-1111.
