Easton police said officers responded to 202 Port Street for a reported altercation between an Easton woman and 43-year-old James D. Warren, also of Easton. According to authorities, an argument between the two had led to a fight in which James placed a knife to Dupree's throat, causing a small cut.

Police arrested Warren for first-and second-degree assault. According to police, the victim  refused medical treatment.
