OCEAN CITY, Md.– Three men were arrested earlier this week after police said they were found to be in the possession of illegal drugs in the parking lot of Ocean City's Public Safety building.
Authorities said that Ocean City Police were in the parking lot at 8 a.m. Tuesday during a shift change when they saw a black Hyundai and three men. Officers reportedly smelled a strong odor of marijuana while passing by the car and asked the men to exit the vehicle.
According to police, the men were identified as Vance Austin Embry, Wayne Michael Jelinek, and Julian Dominick Jordano, all 19, and from Cranberry, Pa.
Officers said that during a search of the car, they recovered several bags of marijuana, paraphernalia and dextroamphetamine.
Embry was charged with possession of marijuana, in addition to three counts of possessing paraphernalia. Jordano and Jelinek were each charged with possession of a dextroamphetamine.
All three men were released on their own personal recognizance.
