DOVER, Del.- Authorities have identified one of the two suspects wanted in connection with the armed holdup of a Dover tobacco store earlier this week.

Dover police are looking for 22-year-old Tyron D. Harmon of South New Street in Dover.

According to police, at around 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, Harmon and another unidentified suspect entered the DOT Discount store, located at 720 Townsend Blvd. Investigators said one suspect jumped over the counter and removed cash from the registers while the other displayed a silver semi-automatic handgun.

Police said both suspects then ran out of the store and then tried to get into a room at the Kent Budget Motel, but without success. The suspects then fled toward the rear of Kohl's department store, investigators said.

Police said the other suspect in the robbery was described as a black male with light skin and green eyes, with no further description available.

Anyone with information about this incident or Harmon's whereabouts is asked to call the Dover Police Department at (302) 736-7111. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips can also be submitted to law enforcement through tip lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or online at www.tipsubmit.com.
