HARRINGTON, Del.— Capitol Police last week arrested a a Frederica man wanted on an arrest warrant charging him with theft and related offenses.
Authorities said the victim went to the Harrington Police Department on June 10 and reported that unknown suspects had taken property from the victim's home on the 100 block of Hanley Street. Investigators said several tools and ladders were taken off the property and pawned at a local pawnbroker but were later recovered by police.
Officers identified 31-year-old Steven E. Pendley as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest on charges of theft under $1,500 and second-degree conspiracy.
Capitol Police arrested Pendley on Friday and took him to the Kent County Courthouse where he was turned over to the Harrington Police Department for processing. No bond information is available at this time.
