SALISBURY, MD -- Fernando Guerrero (23-1, 18 KOs) is climbing back into the ring on Saturday, July 14th. The Salisbury native will face Jose Medina, who has a career record of 17-10.
The event will be held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
This will be the first time Guerrero has fought under the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip.
The bout will be on the undercard of the Amir Kahn/Danny Garcia fight, which is scheduled to be televised on HBO.
Guerrero has fully recovered from a partially torn bicep. The injury caused him to pull out of the April 20th edition of ShoBox where he was set to face Chris Fitzpatrick.
The middleweight is currently training in California with head trainer Ricky Funez.
