FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - A man who pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a girl from the time she was 6 has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Fifty-three-year-old Mark Schluter of Frederick was sentenced Tuesday in Frederick County Circuit Court.

Schulter's lawyer said in court that his client was remorseful and agreed to the plea deal to help keep the victim from testifying.
