SALISBURY, Md.— Police say a Salisbury woman who was agitated over her pending eviction entered an apartment rental office, yelled at the complex manager, and dumped a red slushy all over the manager's desk.
A Wicomico County sheriff's deputy responded to a reported disturbance at around 5 p.m. Friday, June 29, at the rental office of an apartment complex on the 1000 block of East Road. The deputy said he met with the complex manager who told police a tenant, later identified as 19-year-old Yasmine Collick of Salisbury, had come in and assaulted her.
Investigators said Collick was gone when police arrived but the deputy reported observing what appeared to be red slushy all over paperwork on the manager's desk.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Collick and took her into custody on Tuesday, July 3. She was charged with second-degree assault and malicious destruction of property and released on personal recognizance.
