2 People Injured Following Crash on Route 50 Bridge in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md.- Traffic is moving again in both directions following a motor vehicle crash that temporarily shut down the Route 50 Bridge in Ocean City early Tuesday afternoon.

According to Ocean City police, the accident occurred shortly before 2 p.m. and involved two cars, both of which overturned. There was also unspecified damage to the bridge itself, police said.

Two people were taken to Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
