Crews Contain Brush Fire Near Quantico

QUANTICO, Md.- A brush fire near Quantico has been contained, according to the Hebron Fire Company.

Firefighters said the 5-acre brush fire, located off of Nanticoke Road and Giles Lane, began following a lightning strike.

Fire crews said no homes or businesses were near Monday's fire.

In order to stop the flames from harming vegetation, firefighters dug a "fire line" to keep the flames contained.
