A Worcester County judge found 26-year-old Cyle Walker guilty of manslaughter, second-degree assault and disorderly conduct stemming from an October confrontation outside the 707 Sports Bar & Grille.
Walker, who was celebrating his birthday, scuffled with bar owner Carey Flynn after Flynn confronted him for urinating outside the building.
Trial testimony showed that Walker took a swing at the 63-year-old Flynn, and that the men fell to the pavement after grabbing onto each other. Flynn, who weighed 356 pounds, struggled to rise and catch his breath. An autopsy showed that the scuffle somehow caused a tearing of scar tissue and internal bleeding.
The judge in the case has ordered a presentencing investigation. Walker remains held in the Worcester County Jail.
