Police Looking for Dover Sex Offender

DOVER, Del.- Delaware State Police are looking for a convicted sex offender wanted for failing to re-register his current address.

Calvin N. Harris, 49, of Dover, was convicted in March 2010 of third-degree rape of a victim 18 or over. According to the Delaware Sex Offender Registry, Harris is considered to be a "moderate threat." The DSP Sex Offender Apprehension and Registration Unit reports that Harris is required by law to update his status and has failed to do so.

Harris is described as a black male, 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Harris' whereabouts is being asked to call 911 or (302) 739-5882. Tips can also be directed to Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333, and text messages can also be sent to 274637.
