DOVER, Del.— After leading Wesley College's softball team to one of the largest turnarounds in the nation in her first season as head coach in 2012, Juli Greep has announced that 11 players have committed to play for the Wolverines in the 2013 season including Steph Caracozza, Kayla Fromal, Breanna Hartman, Allison Kraky, Samantha Mahoski, Brooke Minemier, Paige Morris, Annie Paslaski, Sarah Saunders, Morgan Seymour, and Samantha Weber.

An All-League and All-County selection as an outfielder in her senior season, Caracozza led River Dell Regional High School in Wayne, N.J., with 40 hits, 20 runs and 17 RBIs in 2012.

From nearby Middletown, Del., Fromal is a third baseman who graduated in 2011 from Appoquinmink High School. As a senior, Fromal earned All-State recognition and was a First Team All-Blue Hen Conference selection. She attended Salisbury University in the 2011-2012 school year.

Hartman played in the middle infield for Red Bank Regional High School in New Jersey and hit .333 with 26 hits, five doubles and three triples as a senior. A four-year starter at RBR and a team captain in 2012, Hartman led the Lady Bucs deep in the State Playoffs this year.

Hailing from Jermyn, Pa., Kraky led Lakeland in home runs from the shortstop position. Her Lady Chiefs knocked off the top-seeded team in the playoffs in 2012, advancing to the District Championship for the first time since 2007.

Mahoski started at first base for Schenectady High School in Schnectady, N.Y., and led her team in batting average and slugging percentage. A First Team All-Conference selection, Mahoski is also an International Baccaluareate graduate.

After leading Southern High School in Harwood, Md., with a .343 average, 24 runs, three doubles and a triple in 2012, Minemier was a Second Team All-County selection as a senior.

Another local product from Smyrna, Del., Morris graduated from Smyrna High School and was a finalist for the Delaware Gatorade Player of the Year. After hitting a team-high .356 and three home runs, the middle infielder was a First Team All-State and All-County selection in 2012 and led SHS to the State Championship Game as a junior. Morris will also play volleyball for the Wolverines.

A right-handed pitcher from Chicago, Ill., Paslaski was a three-time All-Conference selection and just led Morgan Park Academy to its seventh-straight Independent Softball League title.

An outfielder from Mahwah, N.J., Saunders led Mahwah High School in home runs and runs batted in en route to being named All-Bergen County as a senior.

Also from Smyrna High School, Seymour was the starting catcher for a team that advanced to the State Championship Game in 2011 and was named Second Team All-Conference in 2012. Seymour will also play field hockey for the Wolverines.

Another two-sport standout, Weber was a utility player for Christiana High School and was named the school's Female Athlete of the Year in 2012. After setting each season for the CHS Volleyball team since her freshman year, Weber will do the same for the Wolverines this Fall.
