Thefts from Vehicles Reported Across Eastern Sussex County

SUSSEX COUNTY, Del.– Delaware State Police are investigating more than a dozen thefts from vehicles across eastern Sussex County.

Police said that between June and July, an undetermined number of suspects rummaged through approximately 12 vehicles in June and July, stealing everything from car speakers and cash to jewelry.

According to police, because the vehicles were not secured, no damage was done to them. It is also being reported that in most cases, the vehicles were parked in the victims' driveways.

Troopers encouraging people to secure their vehicles and removing all valuables from them. People are also encouraged to report suspicious activity.
