Jermaine WhartonHARRINGTON, Del.— Harrington police on Tuesday arrested a 22-year-old man on drug charges Tuesday, making this the second heroin bust in Harrington so far this week.
Investigators said an execution of a narcotics search warrant at Wharton's Diamond Court apartment revealed heroin packaged for resale, drug paraphernalia, and an amount of cash believed to be drug sale profits.
Police took Jermaine Wharton of Harrington into custody on the charges of manufactures, delivers, or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, maintaining a drug property, and possession of drug paraphernalia and was released on $12,000 unsecured bond.
Two Harrington teens were also arrested Tuesday for heroin-related charges in an unrelated incident.
