SALISBURY, Md.— Salisbury officials are inviting the community to attend a public hearing next month to learn more about the latest updates regarding the Salisbury Skatepark project that recently received funding for Phase I, Mayor Ireton announced Wednesday.
The City of Salisbury and the Salisbury Skatepark Committee said the Maryland Department of Natural Resources selected Salisbury Skatepark's Phase I to be funded through the FY 2013 Community Parks & Playgrounds Program.
The hearing, set for Wednesday, Aug. 8, from 5:30-7 p.m. in the City/County Government Office Building Room 301, is intended to provide information on the project's current status and to allow community members an opportunity to ask questions and show support.
