4 Accused Paintballers Arrested in Harrington

HARRINGTON, Del.— Police have arrested four teenagers accused of shooting paintballs at homes and vehicles in Harrington.

Harrington police said officers on patrol were contacted about the suspects, later identified as 18-year-old Tyler Pack of Felton, two 15-year-olds from Felton, and one 15-year-old from Harrington, in the area of Dorman and Center streets on July 13. An off-duty Delaware State Fire Marshal who lives nearby assisted Harrington police and Delaware State Police in the search for the suspects who had reportedly driven away in a silver vehicle.

According to authorities, a victim followed the teens and reported their location to the police. The vehicle was stopped on Route 14 and police took Pack and the three other teens into custody.

Investigators said paintball guns and several paintballs were found in the vehicle. 

Each of the four suspects was charged with third-degree conspiracy, two counts of second-degree reckless endangering, and three counts of criminal mischief under $1,000 and were processed at the Harrington Police Department. Pack was released on $1,050 unsecured bond. and the three other teens, who were charged as juveniles, were released to the custody of their parents pending an appearance in Kent County Family Court at a later date.
