DOVER, Del.— Delaware State Police say a woman was injured after a man entered her home on Thursday evening and attacked her.

The incident is reported to have happened at around 9 p.m. on the unit block of Coverly Court in Carlisle Village. Police said the suspect knocked on the door of the 26-year-old victim and when she opened it, the suspect forced his way inside, pushed the victim to the ground, and physically attacked her.
