Greensboro Man Goes to Prison for Drug Trafficking

Updated:

BALTIMORE, Md.— A federal judge on Thursday sentenced a Greensboro man  to 10 years in prison followed by five years of supervised release for possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine base.

According to Bredar's guilty plea, a Talbot County Sheriff's officer found 31-year-old Myron D. Allen in a vehicle stopped with its flashers on Aug. 10, 2011, on Old Trappe Road in Trappe, Md.  The officer said he smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle and from Allen, who was reportedly unable to perform sobriety tests.

Authorities said the officer arrested Allen for driving while impaired, searched the vehicle, and seized 529 grams of cocaine base from the vehicle.
