EASTON, Md.— Easton police on Sunday arrested a Vienna man wanted on allegations of beating a victim unconscious last summer.
Police on Sunday took 40-year-old Joseph Norman into custody on a warrant charging him with robbery, theft less than $1,000, and second-degree assault.
According to police, Norman was wanted for severely beating a victim to the point of unconsciousness and robbing someone on Aug. 30, 2011. The victim was flown to the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for treatment.
Following his arrest, Norman was ordered held in the Talbot County Detention Center on $7,500 bond pending trial.
