Police: 2 Arrested After Heroin, Pot Found in Car

MARYDEL, Md.– Authorities say two Delaware men were arrested in Marydel on Monday after 67 bags of heroin, along with an unspecified amount of marijuana, were found in the car they were riding.

The Caroline County Drug Task Force reports that in addition to the drugs, police recovered $1,339 in cash from the vehicle. Officers arrested James A. Brown, 32, of Wilmington, and Elton L. Fletcher, 29, of New Castle.

Brown has been charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, and has been released on $20,000 bond. Fletcher was charged with possessing marijuana, and was released on $3,000 bond.
