Police Say Drugs Hidden in Potato Chip Tube

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - New Castle County Police say they found drugs hidden in the false bottom of a potato chip tube during a traffic stop.

It happened Friday when police stopped a van driven by 21-year-old Craig Hammond of Bear. Officer say they found crack, heroin and marijuana in a false bottom of a potato chip can.

Hammond was charged with traffic and drug offenses. He was released on bail. A passenger in the car, 34-year-old Samuel Berry of Delaware City was charged with drug offenses. He was ordered held on bail.
