BALTIMORE, Md.— Orioles Pitcher Kevin Gregg will speak to nearly 100 youth at Oriole Park on Friday, July 27 about making smart life choices, avoiding drugs, and living a more active and healthy lifestyle, team officials announced Tuesday.
Gregg, along with members of Orioles training staff, expects to welcome visitors from the Central Maryland YMCA and HC Drug Free to the PLAY clinic. The Orioles are hosting the event in conjunction with PLAY, Promoting a Lifetime of Activity for Youth, a public awareness campaign of the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society and Taylor Hooton Foundation intended to combat childhood obesity and to promote healthy living and decision-making among young people nationwide.
