BRUNSWICK, Md.- The West Salisbury Little League Baseball All Star team traveled to Western Maryland where Friday night they became state champions.
Railroaders Little League Complex in Brunswick was packed as host team Brunswick Railroaders lost to West Salisbury 4 to 1. Salisbury fans traveled up to 180 miles to see the little league team play. Parents are proud of their sons and believe they have the ingredients to go a long way.
As this team celebrates its Maryland State title, many remember the 2007 West Salisbury team that went all the way to the Little League World Series.
The team now goes on to regionals with a chance to go to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
