Suspicious Bag Leads to Evacuation of Del. Plaza - WBOC-TV 16, Delmarvas News Leader, FOX 21 -

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington police say a suspicious bag that prompted the evacuation of Occupy Delaware protesters from a city plaza turned out to contain clothing.

Police say the bag was discovered in Spencer Plaza about 9 a.m. Monday and the area was reopened about 12:30 p.m.

No streets were closed and no buildings were evacuated while the contents of the bag were determined. Police say officers dressed in bomb squad attire and a police robot were brought in to investigate the suspicious bag.
