COLLEGE PARK, Md.- The University of Maryland football team is just 24 days away from its season opener against William & Mary, with several exciting and low-cost ticket packages available for the game.
The Terrapins, who face the Tribe at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1 in Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium, opened preseason camp on Monday evening.Maryland will hold its Youth Football Day when the Terps take on William & Mary, welcoming all youth football teams, coaches and family members for $10. Family 4-Packs are also available, offering four tickets and four Maryland car flags for $40.
Prior to the season opener, Maryland will hold a Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, Aug. 18. The team will hold a scrimmage inside Byrd Stadium open to the public which will offer the first chance to see the brand new FieldTurf in person.Gates will open at 2 p.m., warm-ups are at 2:25 and the scrimmage is at 3:00. Athletics department officials will be on hand for select-a-seat and mezzanine upgrade opportunities, and the team will hold an autograph session after the scrimmage.
Season ticket locations are also still available starting at $114, and include all six home games featuring opponents NC State, Georgia Tech and Florida State.
