Man Arrested for Dover Daytime Burglaries

DOVER, Del.- Dover police have arrested a man wanted in connection with a series of daytime home burglaries.

Dustin Crew, 23, of Dover, was arrested Wednesday and charged with eight counts of second-degree burglary, four counts of possession of burglar tools, eight counts of theft, seven counts of criminal mischief, and second-degree conspiracy.

According to investigators, the burglaries occurred at Portmarnock Court, Hobbyhorse Lane, Troon Road, Gristmill Drive, Red Oak Drive, Forrest Avenue, Buckson Drive, and Lakewood Place, all located in Dover.

Police said Crew is believed to have used objects to break rear sliders and windows to enter homes and remove property. Crew is homeless, according to authorities.

Crew is being held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $15,750 secured bond.
