








NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP)- Delaware State Police have arrested a suspect in two restaurant robberies in New Castle.
Troopers and sheriff's deputies in Cecil County, Md. arrested 31-year-old Robert Figgs of New Castle Wednesday in Elkton, Md. Authorities say he jumped from a second-story roof at a home and was injured.
After being treated and released at a Delaware hospital, Figgs was charged with attempted robbery, assault and other offenses. He is being held on $72,000 secured bond.
Authorities say Figgs tried to make off with cash registers or cash drawers from two restaurants on Aug. 3.
