ROXANA, DE - Woodbridge took advantage of 5 Central errors and good pitching
performance from Haley Andrews to beat Central 5-3 in the first
Semifinal game at the 2012 Little league Senior Softball World Series
Friday afternoon.
The game was rescheduled due to possible severe weather, but even with
an afternoon start, there was a 1:45 rain delay.
Jessica Browner tripled in the game, Devon Bitler, Kaitlyn Slater and
Daisjah Williams all doubled for Woodbridge, Slater had 3 RBI's in the
game. Andrews allowed only 3 runs, scattered 9 hits, and struck out 5.
Jamie Young doubled for Central.
Woodbridge will play in the final game, scheduled for Noon at Layton
Field at the Lower Sussex Little League Park in Roxana, DE.
