Body of Millsboro Man Found in Submerged Vehicle

MILLSBORO, Del.- Delaware State Police say that body of a 68-year-old Millsboro man was found dead in a car at the bottom of a pond.

Troopers investigating a missing person's report found the car at around 5:30 a.m. Sunday in Ingram Pond near Godwin School Road in Millsboro. Troopers said the car's lights were still on when it was found in about five feet of water. The vehicle was about 90 feet from where it entered the pond.

The body was recovered and turned over to the Delaware Medical Examiner's Office to determine the exact cause of death.  
 
Police, who did not release the man's name, said foul play is not suspected and the death is being investigated as an apparent suicide.
