Single-Lane Closure on Snow Hill Road in Salisbury Starts Wednesday

Updated:

SALISBURY, Md.– Drivers can expect single-lane closures at the intersection of Snow Hill Road and West College Avenue in Salisbury for four nights starting Wednesday.

According to the State Highway Administration, utility work will take place weather permitting from Aug. 15-18. Minor delays can be expected between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m., when the work will reportedly be taking place.

The construction is aimed at providing tie-ins to existing City of Salisbury water and sewer mains. The SHA plans on completing all paving at the intersection by mid-September.

Drivers are reminded to modify their driving and reduce speeds to avoid accidents during construction. More travel information can be found by calling 1-855-GOMD511 or online at www.md511.org.
