Shawn WelchNEWARK, Del. (AP/WBOC)- New Castle County police have arrested a man they say sexually abused a 15-year-old girl over a period of months.
Thirty-seven-year-old Shawn Welch of Ogletown was charged this week with four counts of sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust. He is being held on $200,000 cash bail.
Police say the alleged abuse took place in a Newark home and the victim had been sexually abused at least four times within the last few months.
