DOVER, Del. (AP) - Three Dover day care workers charged with encouraging two 3-year-old boys in their care to fight each other have waived their rights to preliminary hearings.

The three women were charged this week with assault and other offenses after Dover police obtained a cellphone video of the March 6 incident. Officials suspended the license of Hands of Our Future day care center the same day.

Nineteen-year-old Tiana Harris of Dover, 21-year-old Estefania Myers of Felton, and 47-year-old Lisa Parker all waived preliminary hearings Friday. Myers and Parker refused to comment before leaving the Kent County courthouse.

Adam Windett represented Estefania Myers Friday and says the women could be back in court as soon as September.

"I'm sure the case is still being investigated, I'm not in a position to really talk about the case," he said. "The next step is that it goes to a grand jury and they get to decide if there's enough evidence to send it up to Superior court."

The women posted bonds of $10,000 each after being charged with felony assault and conspiracy, and several misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
