Ocean City Collision Claims Life of Popular Baltimore Restaurant Owner

OCEAN CITY, Md.- The owner of two well-known Baltimore restaurants has died, following a collision involving a bicycle and a municipal bus in Ocean City Friday night.

According to police, Patrick McCusker, 49, was operating the bicycle, when he collided into a bus in the area of 132nd Street and Coastal Highway. Police said the bus was traveling in the northbound bus lane at the time of the accident.

McCusker is the owner of Nacho Mama's and Mama's on the Half Shell in Baltimore.

Police responded to the collision at approximately 8:38 p.m. Friday, and emergency officials treated McCusker on the scene for serious injuries. According to police, McCusker was transported by ambulance to Atlantic General Hospital and then transferred to Peninsula Regional Medical Center where he later died.

The identity of the bus driver is not being released at this time.
