2 Women Found Dead During Va. Storm ID'ed - WBOC-TV 16, Delmarvas News Leader, FOX 21 -

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) - Newport News police have identified two women who were found dead during a weekend storm.

Police spokeswoman Holly McPherson says that authorities found the body of 38-year-old Brittany Hinz in her apartment during an evacuation of the building.

McPherson says the body of 57-year-old Mary Mclean of Newport News was found floating in water near a ravine.

Both bodies were found during a storm on Saturday that caused flooding in Newport News and Hampton. Authorities haven't determined the cause of the women's deaths or whether they were related to the storm.
