








NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP)- Delaware State Police say they have arrested a 50-year-old man in connection with the deaths of a man and woman at a home near New Castle.
Police say Mactavish M. Alexander was charged Sunday with two counts of murder and other charges in the deaths of 48-year-old Joseph L. Taylor, who has special needs, and his 52-year-old caretaker Mary F. Dale.
Authorities say a family member and a friend found Taylor and Dale dead inside a home in the 4000 block of New Castle Avenue about 4:20 p.m. Saturday. The state medical examiner's office ruled the deaths homicide caused by blunt force trauma to the head.
Police say they arrested Alexander following an investigation.
