Talbot County Lifts Burn Ban

EASTON, Md.- The Talbot County Council on Tuesday voted to lift a burn ban that had been in effect since July 24.

The ban had been imposed due to a drought or near-drought conditions, but after recent rainfall- including a substantial downpour that left some county streets and roads flooded last weekend- the council agreed to lift the burn ban.
