








BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore City police say seven men were shot in separate incidents on Labor Day and one has died of his injuries.
Detective Jeremy Silbert, a police department spokesman, says that a man was shot in the 2700 block of Beryl Avenue around 11:45 a.m. The man, who was in his early 20s, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Silbert says two men were shot about 9 p.m. on Boone Street and were taken to a hospital for treatment. He says two more men were shot about 10:15 p.m. on South Eaton Street. Silbert says shootings also occurred in the 1800 block of Rutland Avenue and the 600 block of Frankford Avenue.
Police are investigating the shootings.
